On October 16,  2023, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E Altynbek Maksutov.

The discussions during the meeting were centered on strengthening cooperation within the framework of information, sports and youth policy. Both parties emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration in these key areas among the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States.

Parties also addressed the agenda for the 5th Meeting of Ministers and High Officials in charge of Media and Information, scheduled for October 17, 2023, in Bishkek. 

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties reiterating their commitment to fostering strong ties and advancing mutual goals within the framework of the OTS
