On 23 April 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with the Chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, H.E. Vüsal Huseynov in Baku.

During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in addressing irregular migration across the Turkic States and highlighted the value of sharing best practices among Member States.

Both sides expressed their commitment to working closely in the field of migration within the framework of the OTS, with a focus on coordinated action and experience exchange.
