H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with H.E. Prof. Gilles Carbonnier, Vice President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on 14 October 2025 at the headquarters of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the Secretary General briefed the Vice President on the ongoing cooperation among the Member States of the OTS in the field of disaster and emergency management.

The Parties discussed prospects for developing joint initiatives aimed at strengthening resilience, promoting international humanitarian principles, and enhancing the exchange of expertise among relevant institutions of the Member States.

Both sides expressed their readiness to deepen institutional dialogue and coordination in addressing regional and global humanitarian challenges, reaffirming their shared commitment to solidarity and humanitarian values.
