H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) received H.E. Narmina Mustafayeva, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul at the Secretariat's premises in Istanbul on 23 May 2024.
The Consul General handed the Secretary General the original of the invitation letter of H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the 29th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held on 11-22 November 2024 in Azerbaijan.
The Secretary General expressed his gratitude for the invitation and underlined that the Secretariat of the OTS stands ready to support and actively engage in successful holding of the COP29.
