Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received the Ambassador of Sweeden to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan H.E. Tomas Danestad on 24 March 2025 at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
Parties held extensive discussions on the structure, current agenda and prospective activities of the Organization, as well as elaborated on exploring cooperation opportunities between the OTS and Sweeden including fostering ties with the EU and the Nordic Council.  
Parties also exchanged views about the regional and global developments that are high on the agenda of international politics.
