Panel session titled 'Culture and Tourism In the Age of Artificial Intelligence' held at Erzurum Economic Forum 

On 26 April 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in a high-level panel session titled “Culture and Tourism in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” within the framework of the Erzurum Economic Forum.

The panel was moderated by H.E. Prof. Dr. Osman Mert, President of the Turkish Language Association of the Republic of Türkiye, and featured distinguished speakers including H.E. Asad Majeed Khan, Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization; H.E. Başaran Ulusoy, Former Chair of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies; H.E. İlker Astarcı, Director of the Turkish National Agency; and H.E. Eda Bildiricioğlu, CEO of DEM Museology, Astel Group of Companies.

During the session, participants explored the profound impact of technological advancements on tourism and cultural heritage, focusing particularly on strategies to ensure the sustainability of future tourism initiatives.

Panelists emphasized the importance of revitalizing cultural heritage in the digital sphere and discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence and robotic technologies in this transformation.

He emphasized that integrating AI into cultural preservation, storytelling, and destination management would safeguard our shared heritage and pave the way for a common, forward-looking future.
