President of Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) and TOBB Mr. Rifat Hisarcıkoğlu visited the Secretariat of the Turkic Council on 9 October 2021 and met with the Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev.
President Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Secretary General on the new premises of the Secretariat located at the historical peninsula of Istanbul that is commensurate with the high stature of the Turkic Council and expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Secretariat in strengthening private sector cooperation among the Turkic Council members.
Secretary General and President of TCCI deliberated on economic relations between the Turkic Council Member States, evaluated relations between the TCCI member Chambers as well as the ways to strengthen private sector cooperation among businessmen, and conferred on the plan of events of TCCI in the coming years.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the organization and the agenda of the 3rd General Assembly of TCCI as well as other business events that are planned to be held on the margins of the upcoming Summit.
Parties also exchanged views on different topics of common interest.
