The 5th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Youth and Sports of the Turkic Council and the First Young Entrepreneurs Forum will be organized on 20-21 September 2021 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Ministerial meeting will be hosted by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Aziz Abdukhakimov and Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Alisher Sadullayev and moderated by Secretary General of the Turkic Council, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev.
H.E. Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan – H.E. Balayeva Aida Galimovna, Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan - H.E. Imanaliev Kairat Oljobaevich, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic - H.E. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey – Mr.. Alisher Sadullayev, Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and H.E. István Iglói-Nagy, Director General for Sports Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary will participate in the Meeting.
The Ministers will hold discussions on the Youth and Sports Agenda and upcoming initiatives of the Turkic Council; “1st Turkic Council Teqball Tournament” and Draft “Regulation of Turkic World Youth Capital Initiative”.
At the end of the Meeting, Ministers will sign the “Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation under the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on Multilateral and Bilateral Youth and Youth Workers Exchange Programs”.
At the same day, the First Young Entrepreneurs Forum of the Turkic Council will take place simultaneously with the Ministerial Meeting. The organization of the Forum was proposed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council in Baku on 15 October 2019 in order to actively involve the talented and educated youth of the Turkic Council Countries with the purpose of enhancing the networks among the young business people of the Member States that would allow them to discover new business opportunities. Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development, H.E. Bekhzod Musayev and the Ministers in charge of Youth and Sports of the Turkic Council will participate the opening of the First Young Entrepreneurs Forum.
After the opening speeches of the Ministers, the investment and entrepreneurship opportunities in Uzbekistan will be presented to the audience with a special “Invest in Uzbekistan” program. In the afternoon, five parallel sessions will be organized on "Agrobusiness and Food industry", "IT-startup", "Light Industry", "Tourism" and "Marketing" with the participation of over 250 young entrepreneurs from the Member and Observer countries of the Turkic Council.
The sessions will be compounded by B2B meetings, field visits, young entrepreneur’s exhibition and a cultural program during the two-day event.
