H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held a meeting with Mr. John O’Sullivan, President of the Danube Institute, prior to a high-level event hosted by the Institute in Budapest on 30 April 2025.

During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev expressed his sincere appreciation for  being hosted at the Danube Institute  and commended Mr. O’Sullivan for his longstanding contributions to fostering strategic dialogue in Hungary and beyond.

Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev highlighted the importance of think-tanks and Hungary’s active and growing role, emphasizing its valuable engagement with the Turkic world.

The parties discussed potential avenues for collaboration between the OTS and the Danube Institute.
