On 30 May 2025 in Astana H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with H.E. Mr. Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss key areas of cooperation between the OTS and Kazakhstan, as well as regional integration within the Turkic World.
 
Ambassador Omuraliev expressed his gratitude for the invitation to take part in Astana International Forum and underlined the Forum’s role as a leading dialogue platform in the region.

The Secretary General also highlighted upcoming First Meeting of the Heads of Government of the OTS Member States. He emphasized that this format of cooperation among the heads of government will enhance policy coordination, strengthen economic ties, and promote the effective implementation of joint regional initiatives within the Turkic World.

The Secretary General and the Prime Minister discussed the upcoming events scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan, as well as the involvement of relevant institutions in ensuring their successful organization and participation.
