On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, received upon the request of UNRWA – Ms. Tamara Alrifai, Director of External Relations and Communications of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and Mr. Mehmet Kose, Regional Partnership Advisor.

During the meeting, Ms. Alrifai provided a brief overview of UNRWA’s mandate and key activities in the region, highlighting the agency’s efforts to deliver education, healthcare, and social services to millions of Palestinian refugees across its areas of operation.

Secretary General Omuraliev expressed his sincere appreciation for UNRWA’s essential role in supporting Palestinian refugees and acknowledged the agency’s steadfast work in delivering vital services under challenging conditions.

The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to maintain dialogue and work toward practical forms of partnership that align with their mutual objectives.
