On 11 April 2025, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held a meeting with H.E. Sadik Safoev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

The parties highlighted the Organization's expanding agenda, encompassing over 35 areas of cooperation. They commended the intensified collaboration within the OTS under Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship and acknowledged Uzbekistan's pivotal role in fostering regional unity and development.

Both sides praised the landmark Treaty signed between Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan on the Junction Point of State Borders, along with the completion of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border delimitation, which have resolved longstanding disputes, enhanced regional stability, and opened avenues for joint infrastructure and trade initiatives.

The parties also exchanged views on the implementation of the initiatives put forward by the Heads of State during the Bishkek Summit and discussed upcoming activities to be hosted by Uzbekistan in the coming period, including a Turkic Youth Olympiad in Exact Sciences and a World Congress of Turkologists.
