H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with H.E. Hilala Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan in charge of Educational Reform, on the margins of the 8th General Assembly of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB).

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan; H.E. Bakhtiyor Yuldashev, Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan; H.E. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy; and Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS.

During the discussions, the Parties exchanged views on ongoing and future cooperation in the field of education among the Turkic States. The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing the Orhun Exchange Program, strengthening the institutional framework of TURKUNIB, and expanding academic mobility and research collaboration among the Member States.
