Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who is in Antalya to participate in the Global South South Development (GSSD) EXPO 2017, held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on 27 November 2017 in Antalya.
Secretary General Hasanov gave detailed information to Foreign Minister Cavusoğlu about the current activities of the Turkic Council as well as the projects planned for the coming period.
Secretary General Hasanov also provided information on the meeting of the Turkic Council Ministers of Economy to be held in Istanbul on November 30, 2017,on the preparations for official visit to Kyrgyzstan in December,on the preparations for the 6th Summit of Turkic Council Heads of States, on the preparations of Second Turkic Council Diaspora Forum planned to be realized in 2018 as well as details of state of relations with Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Finally, Secretary General Hasanov informed Foreign Minister Cavusoglu about the activities of the Turkic Council in the margins of the Global South South Development EXPO 2017 which was opened today with the participation of high level guests and conveyed his thaks to Foreign Minister Cavusoglu for his valuable support.
Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu thanked Secretary General Hasanov for the information he provided, congratulated Secretary General Hasanov on the high performance achieved despite the increasing workload of the Turkic Council and expressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to support the activities of the Turkic Council.
The Deputy Secretary General Dr. Omer Kocaman accompanied Secretary General Hasanov during the meeting.
