Secretary General of the Turkic Council H.E. Baghdad Amreyev met with H.E. Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey on 9 November 2021 in Ankara. 

Secretary General and Minister discussed current preparations and key issues in the agenda upcoming 8th Summit of the Turkic Council to be held on 12th November 2021, as well as economic events organized in İstanbul in the run-up to this occasion.

The Parties particularly discussed the current undertakings on establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund and exchanged their views regarding structural organization of the Fund.

They agreed to continue join efforts to accelerate the finalization of necessary procedures in close collaboration with the Member States.

The Secretary General and the Minister also exchanged views on number of economic issues of the regional and international agendas.
