Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev participated at the online ceremony of presentation of the Book:“Biz Türkleriz! Çadırımız gök kübbesi” (We are Turks! Our ceiling is heaven) on 15 September 2020.
The ceremony was organized by the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan . More than 40 participants attended the ceremony, including the Azerbaijani academicians, scientists, professors, Members of Parliament (Milli Majlis) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, President of the Turkic Heritage and Culture Foundation, TURKPA, Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) and etc.
During his speech at the ceremony, Secretary General B.Amreyev stressed that Turkic Council, after having completed 10 years of an establishment period, now enters into a new phase, where it aims for closer cooperation and deeper integration among its members. In this context, he underlined the active role of the Member States, particularly Azerbaijan, as a Chairman in Office, in support and valuable contribution to the activities of the Turkic Council.
B.Amreyev expressed that the common history, geography and literature textbooks are important, as it a part of our legacy in the Turkic world and shape the young generations’ understanding of Turkic history.
Secretary General B.Amreyev appreciated the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Member of the TCCI for their contribution to the strengthening ties between the business communities of the Member States, as well as for their involvement in such wonderful project - publishing a book devoted to the common rich history and culture of the Turkic World. He expressed his sincere and warm congratulations to all participants of this project for high quality of performed work, and Turkic World with this substantive book.
Secretary General emphasized that such worthwhile initiatives and projects will further contribute and give value added to the strengthening cooperation process and unity between brotherly nations.
