Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev received Kürşad Zorlu, the Ak Parti Vice Chairman responsible for Relations with the Turkic States on 28 February 2025 at the premises of the OTS in Istanbul.

During the meeting, Secretary General briefed the Vice Chairman Zorlu about the Organization’s key initiatives, achievements, and future prospects. Moreover, the Parties exchanged views on the main outcomes of recent OTS Summits, as well as discussed current global and regional developments and their possible repercussions on the Turkic World.

The Vice Chairman underscored that the initiation of the Vice Chairmanship position in Ak Parti dedicated to the Turkic World clearly demonstrates the emphasis the ruling party of Türkiye is putting to the Turkic World, as well as the growing significance of the multilateral cooperation and solidarity among the Turkic States.

The Parties further held consultations on possible avenues cooperation in the upcoming period to facilitate the ongoing coordination within the framework of the OTS.
