The 1st Meeting of Heads of Mapping Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on 30 September – 1 October 2024 in Ankara. Heads of civil/military mapping institutions of the Member States and Observers participated at the Meeting.
The Participants presented information about the objectives and activities of mapping institutions and authorities of their countries.
Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Sadi Jafarov delivered a speech at the Meeting and underlined that the newly established platform of the Heads of Mapping Institutions will further develop and enhance the cooperation among the OTS countries in the field of mapping.
At the conclusion of the Meeting, the Heads of delegations signed the Declaration.
