The Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Mr. Merey Mukazhan attended and addressed the audience at the International Forum "Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace" organized by the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Country Team on 11 December 2023 in Ashgabat.

He also addressed to the thematic session “The voice of youth: Empowering the next generation through dialogue” and participated in the High-level meeting of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for peace, security and sustainable development.

Merey Mukazhan expressed full support to the fraternal Turkmenistan in its actions to support the global campaigns to promote a culture of peace, which is in line with the initiative of the UN Secretary General to form a New Agenda for Peace.

He also briefed about the outcomes of the 10th OTS Jubilee Summit held under motto “TURKTIME” on 3 November 2023 in Astana and highlighted priorities of Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship at the OTS. Deputy Secretary General stressed that priorities such as Traditions, Unity, Reforms, Knowledge, Trust, Investment, Mediation and Energy are closely associated with the initiatives and values of the brotherly Turkmenistan.
