H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) had a meeting with H.E. Murat Nurtleu, the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 10 September 2024 in Astana.
The Secretary General congratulated the Kazakh side on the successful launch of the 5th World Nomad Games, emphasizing that the Games have become not only a sports tournament, but a large-scale cultural event designed to introduce to the world the unique heritage of nomadic peoples.
At the meeting the Parties discussed the current undertakings of the Organization in various fields of Turkic cooperation.
They also discussed the events convened in Kazakhstan, as well as the events that will be organized in Kazakhstan under its Chairmanship.
