Turkic Council participated in the International Tourism Fair in Spain (FITUR) on 22-26 January 2020 in Madrid to promote the Modern Silk Road Joint Tour Project. The Project which was developed by the Secretariat aims to increase the number of tourists coming to the region, as well as promote the ancient cities and destinations of the Turkic Council Member States located along the Silk Road.
The promotion of the Project took place at the Turkish Pavilion and was visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Madrid, Cihad Erginay, as well as number of government and private sector officials from different countries.
Project Director Ersin Aydoğan together with Merve Özkök, Deputy General Manager of HIS Turkey were present in the Tourism Fair.
