Turkic Council delegation attended the commemoration ceremony of Azerbaijan’s Founder and National Leader Heydar Aliyev on 11 December 2020 at Sarıyer Heydar Aliyev Park in İstanbul. 
Hosted by the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Ms. Nermine Mustafayeva, the ceremony was attended by Mayor of Sarıyer Province, Mr. Şükrü Genç, representatives of the Consulates General in Istanbul, businessmen from Turkey and Azerbaijan, academicians, Azerbaijani diaspora and members of the press.
