Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Sultan Raev took part in a photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
The event was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Serdar Çam, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey Ishankuli Amanliev, Director General for the European Union and External Relations of the Ministry of Education of Turkey Burcu Eysoy Dalkyran, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Bilal Çakıcı and Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Sultan Raev and representatives of the corps diplomatique in Ankara including Ambassadors of the Member States of the Turkic Council, government officials from Turkey.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Serdar Çam, emphasized in his opening speech he noted that the homeland of the ancestors of the Turks is Central Asia, and noted that Türkmenistan, along with other Turkic peoples, is a common and large family. Stressing the importance of the event, he said: "We want the love and compassion coming from our ancestors to be preserved in the common Turkic people. He also emphasized that, we as the Turkic peoples, will work together to live in harmony and eternity and continue this process.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Serdar Cham also expressed pride that organizations such as the Turkish Council and TURKSOY also closely cooperate with Turkmenistan.
In his speech the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara, H.E. Isankuli Amanliyev stated in his speech that the field of culture and art also occupies an important place in his country's foreign policy. The cultural field, which is an important factor in our development process, offers an important potential for Turkmenistan's Democratic and socio-economic development while meeting the demands of the new era.
