I have the pleasure to congratulate the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its brotherly people on the occasion of “State Flag Day” celebrated annually on November 18.
As a symbol of State independence and sovereignty of Uzbekistan, the colors of the national flag were created on the basis of historical values and symbolize the past, present and future, which personify the enormous national power, deep history, high intelligence and willpower of the Uzbek people. Thus, National Flag Day is a significant social and political event, a tribute to the history of the great country, strengthening the continuity and spiritual connection of generations.
I am confident that brotherly country Uzbekistan will continue its successful national development, that will contribute to enhancing the potential of the Turkic World and ensuring the integration process among the Turkic Council Member States.
On this memorable day, I wish our member state, the Republic of Uzbekistan, peace and prosperity.
Baghdad Amreyev,
Secretary General of the Turkic Council
