H.E. Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic received the Heads of International Election Observation Missions who monitored the Early Elections for the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) on 1 December 2025.
During the meeting, the President expressed appreciation for the presence and constructive engagement of the Observation Missions, noting their important role in supporting the transparency and credibility of the electoral process. He emphasized that international observation contributes to strengthening democratic institutions and promoting public trust in elections.
Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov, the Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, briefed the President on the OTS Mission’s findings, noting that the delegation composed of representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and the OTS Secretariat, observed the electoral process in Bishkek. He underlined that the elections were conducted in a calm and orderly manner, in line with national legislation and internationally recognized principles such as competitiveness, fairness, inclusiveness, and equality. He praised the professional work of election commissions at all levels, as well as the efforts of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic to ensure transparency, accessibility of information, and openness to international observers.
He further underlined the OTS’s high appreciation for the Kyrgyz Republic’s leadership in advancing multilateral cooperation within the Organization, noting that its Chairmanship has given new momentum to integration processes and contributed significantly to strengthening the common Turkic platform.
The Parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and cooperation aimed at further enhancing electoral practices and supporting democratic governance in the Kyrgyz Republic.
