Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Merey Mukazhan participated at the 8th TRT World Forum held on 29-30 November 2024 in Istanbul. The Forum, inaugurated by the President of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was organized under the theme "A World at Breaking Point: Managing Crises and Transformations".

As part of the event, Deputy Secretary General took part as a speaker in the session titled "Central Asia Crossroads: Enhancing Partnerships Amidst Global Currents" on 30 November 2024. The session featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Akhror Burkhanov, Press Secretary of Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry, Prof. Selver B. Şahin, Professor of the Boğaziçi University, and Dr. Aijan Sharshenova, Executive Director of Crossroads Central Asia.
