Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev addressed the opening ceremony of the 4th meeting of Ministers in charge of Health of the OTS chaired by the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Dr Teymur Musayev on 8 October 2024 in Shusha.

In his remarks Secretary General Omuraliev praised the outcomes of the Turkic health cooperation, in particular signing of the Protocol of Intent between the Health Ministers of the OTS Member States on creating the TURKTRANSPLANT Unified Information System as well as memoranda of understanding on cooperation between medical facilities of Azerbaijan and other Member States.

Following the statements by heads of delegations from the Member States and Observers at the session on the meeting’s agenda, Deputy Secretary General Dr Omer Kocaman reported to the Health Ministers on future activities of the Action Plan for 2025 of the OTS Working Group on Health Cooperation adopted by the Joint Declaration of the 4th meeting of Health Ministers of the OTS.
