On 7 February 2025, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated at the 2nd Meeting of the Council of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Astana, Kazakhstan.

In his address, the Secretary General underlined the significance of holding regular meetings of the TCHF Council in elaborating common approach of the Parties and effectively handling tasks related to the protection and preservation of the cultural heritage of the Turkic World.

To promote the common culture and visibility of the Turkic World, the Secretary General proposed to implement joint projects such as the annual Turkic Weeks, common museum pass and others.    

Moreover, highly estimating the activities of the Foundation for the past period, Ambassador Omuraliev expressed his readiness to support continuing efforts of the TCHF, including the joining process of Uzbekistan to the Foundation as a Member State.
