On December 6, 2023, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with HE. Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek.
During the meeting, the parties engaged in discussions about key cooperation issues within the OTS framework. Special attention was devoted to the outcomes of the 10th Summit of the OTS, held in Astana in November 3, 2023, focusing on the implementation of joint initiatives and cooperation on various issues, including specific projects in Kyrgyzstan.
The Secretary General informed the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the preliminary results of the Organization's activities in 2023, as well as the plans for the upcoming period.
Minister Kulubaev reiterated the Kyrgyz side's commitment to actively contribute to and support the initiatives of the Secretary General and the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States.
