On April 26, 2023, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Bobur Usmanov, during his working visit to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Usmanov expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Omuraliev for the extensive scope of work completed and the remarkable progress achieved since his appointment in November 2022. Additionally, he emphasized the organization's bustling agenda throughout this period.
Ambassador Omuraliev congratulated the Deputy Minister on his recent appointment to the high position and wished him success in the upcoming nationwide referendum on the constitutional amendments, scheduled for April 30th, which will also be observed by the International Observer Mission of the OTS. Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Uzbekistan's active involvement in shaping the Organization's agenda and its significant contributions as host to notable ongoing events, including the Space Technology Conference and the International Investment Forum.
