H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with Dr. Lucica Ditiu, Executive Director of Stop TB Partnership, a global network hosted by the United Nations Office for Project Services, on 12 February 2025 in Geneva.

During the meeting, Dr. Ditiu provided an overview of the Stop TB Partnership's initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of individuals, communities, and nations affected by tuberculosis. 

Ambassador Omuraliev highlighted OTS's efforts to enhance health cooperation among the Turkic States and its partnerships with international organizations, including the World Health Organization, to strengthen emergency preparedness and bolster health systems. 

The parties also discussed potential avenues for collaboration between the OTS and Stop TB Partnership to facilitate the efforts of the countries of the region in combating tuberculosis and enhancing quality healthcare services.
