President of Turkish Space Agency, Mr. Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev on 16 January 2023 at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
Hüseyin Yıldırım provided brief information on the activities of the Turkish Space Agency during the visit and emphasized their readiness to increase cooperation opportunities between the Member and Observer States of the OTS.
Secretary General Omuraliev shared with Mr. Yıldırım the latest activities of the Organization and underlined that space cooperation among the Member and Observer States is one of the important areas in common interest.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospective cooperation opportunities in the field of space industry such as developing joint satellite projects (cube), organizing joint workshops as well as youth space camps and further agreed to realize joint projects in this sphere.
