President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who came to Kazakhstan to take part in the First Science and Technology Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, had made a statement after the bilateral meeting with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev making an emphasis on the Turkic Council:
“I believe that the Turkic Council, which was established with our combined efforts, together with the member state will carry out projects for the benefit of the region. I also wish the number of the Turkic Council member states increase in the coming period.”
