The Second Meeting of Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Turkic Council Member States will start on 21 December 2015 in Istanbul.
In the framework of the institutional ties based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed among the relevant institutions on 8 May 2015 in Baku, the Second Meeting of Official Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Member States of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) will be held on 21 December 2015 in Istanbul at Conrad Hotel. The cultural tour for the participants will take place on 22 December 2015.
The meeting hosted by the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM) and the Turkic Council envisages strengthening the ever expanding multifaceted partnership among the Member States on an academic level. Along with the participants from the Member States, a number of academics from various countries, members of press, diplomats and representatives from NGOs will take part in the meeting that turned into a traditional event.
The participants of the meeting will mainly discuss the preparation of the common agenda aimed at deepening the cooperation among the Turkic States for the period of 2016-2020. Meanwhile, the meeting will provide ground to discuss the political, social, economic and cultural dimensions of the cooperation among the Turkic States relying on the multifaceted partnership established among the Foreign Policy Research Centers of the Turkic Council Member States.
Chairman of the SAM Prof. Dr.Ali Resul Usul and Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov will address the participants at the opening session of the meeting which will be open for press and be held on 21 December 2015 between 9:30-10.45. The opening speeches of other participants will be followed by the panel discussions.
