Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with the President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), H.E. Ersin Tatar on 10 March 2022 in Antalya upon the initiative of the TRNC side.
Secretary General and the President exchanged views on the situation in TRNC and diplomatic efforts for finding a solution regarding the island.
Parties discussed the cooperation between TRNC and OTS as well as its related organizations; namely TURKSOY, Turkic Academy and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, particularly the participation of delegation from TRNC to the events of the OTS and affiliated  structures in the upcoming period.
