Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov gave an interview to Khabar Television Channel on 15 December 2016 at the premises of the Secretariat on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the interview, Secretary General Hasanov congratulated the Kazakh people on this remarkable day noting the importance of the date for the country and for the whole Turkic people. In his speech, Secretary General Hasanov also stressed the achievements of the country over the past 25 years. He added that Kazakhstan has become an example in the region due to the stability and contribution to conflict resolution, which is especially important at this time.
In this connection, Secretary General Hasanov put an emphasis on the valuable contribution of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Aksakal of the Turkic World, to the development of Kazakhstan and duties he carried out for the whole Turkic people, especially as an initiator of the Turkic Council. Finally, he wished peace and prosperity to the brotherly Kazakh people.
