Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov who is in Baku on the occasion of the of the 6th Meeting of the Turkic Council Ministers of Economy met with H.E. Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 20 December 2016 at the Ministry.
During the meeting Secretary, General Hasanov presented comprehensive information particularly about the current situation of the activities and projects being implemented by the Turkic Council as of end of 2016, exchanged ideas with the Minister Mammadyarov especially on the issues that directly concern the region and the Turkic Council and made a presentation about the planned activities for 2017.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mammadyarov expressed their gratitude for the effective work program realized by Turkic Council and stated that they will continue to give all kinds of support to all its activities. Minister Mammadyarov also conveyed the fact that Azerbaijan will always be beside Turkey, the host country of the Turkic Council, by referring to the recent events that took place in the Republic of Turkey.
