Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov on 9 September in Baku.
Secretary General Amreyev and Foreign Minister Bayramov discussed the core issues that are on the current agenda of the Turkic Council within the strategy of the Organization and the preparations for the upcoming Summit of the Turkic Council in Istanbul.
Emphasizing the increasing dynamism of the cooperation among Turkic Council Member States, they highlighted the extensive agenda of the upcoming meeting of Ministers in charge of Economy to be held on 10 September in Baku.
Parties expressed their hope that the meeting as well as the following large scale Buisness Forum dedicated to the rehabilitation of the liberated Karabakh region would contribute to levelling up the economic cooperation among the Member and Observer States.
Parties also exchanged views on different pressing issues of the international and regional politics.
