In his letter the Secretary General conveyed his best wishes of health and happiness to His Excellency.
Praising the tremendous progress of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the strong leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Secretary General referred to the important role of founding member and current Chair of the Turkic Council, Azerbaijan in the instituting the Organization in 2009 and further strengthening the relations among the brotherly Turkic States.
Secretary General Amreyev also stated that the historical victory of Azerbaijan attained with the resolute faith and determination of President Aliyev as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the heroism of the brave Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War have been a source of pride not only for the brotherly Azerbaijani people, but for the entire Turkic world.
