Statement of the Secretary General on the Allied relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

Statement of the Secretary General on the Allied relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
It is a great privilege for me to express my gratification for the elevation of level of Strategic relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to Allied relations by signing appropriate Declaration on December 6, 2021.
This historical event is a vivid example of brotherhood among the Turkic peoples, who are bound together by centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness, a common language, history, and great cultural heritage.
Kazakh-Uzbek Allied relations are, without any doubt, the historic decision of the Presidents and the political will of two fraternal States which are aimed at establishing a belt of stability and security in the Central Asian region.
This new level of relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will not only strengthen the comprehensive cooperation between two countries but also contribute to even greater integration and broaden relations between the Turkic countries and serve as an important step towards the unity and solidarity of the entire Turkic World.
