The 1st Turkic States Sports Volunteers Forum was held on 5 March 2025 in Gabala, Azerbaijan with the participation of the delegations from the OTS Member States. 

H.E. Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Sadi Jafarov, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS delivered opening speeches at the event.
 
On behalf of the OTS Secretariat, the Deputy Secretary General of the OTS expressed his appreciation to the Azerbaijani side for hosting the event for the first time, and conveyed congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports in Azerbaijan.
 
During his speech, Deputy Secretary General  underlined that throughout the event, the participants will have panel sessions and other activities enriched by the diverse perspectives and experiences of the volunteers from the Turkic countries.
