The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev accepted the Election Observation Mission of the Turkic Council headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman.
The Deputy Secretary General informed the Deputy Minister about the recent acitivities of the Secretariat and the plans of mission concerning the election observation, adding that the delegation of the Turkic Council is made up of two groups; one will be observing elections in Baku and the other in Ganja.
The Deputy Minister Mammad-Guliyev expressed his gratitude from the visit and presence of the mission in Azerbaijan. He also pointed out that he closely follows activities of the Turkic Council stressing that specific areas of cooperation such as economy, investment, customs, transport and ICT should be given priority.
