Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov paid a courtesy visit to Abdurrahman Bilgiç, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on 5 November 2015.
On the occasion of his official visit to London to attend the 9th UNWTO and World Travel Market Ministers’ Summit, Turkic Council Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov paid a courtesy visit to Abdurrahman Bilgiç, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on 5 November 2015.
 
At the meeting, Secretary General Ambassador Hasanov informed Ambassador Bilgiç of the ongoing activities and future projects of the Turkic Council in the various fields including tourism, transportation and sustainable development to increase regional cooperation among the Turkic Council Member States as well as in Eurasia.
 
Furthermore, he also touched upon relations of the Turkic Council with regional and international organizations including UNTWO, UNECE and UNDP.
 
Ambassadors had a mutual understanding on the prospective activities to be organized in London and participation of the Turkic Council in meetings and conferences of relevant think tanks such as "Chatham House" and "Asia House" based in London with a view of increasing visibility of the Council in the United Kingdom and in Europe.
 
At the end of the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov presented a souvenir to Ambassador Bilgiç in the memory of the meeting.
 
Ambassador Hasanov was accompanied by Project Directors Yedil Myrzakhanov and Pelin Musabay Baki, as well as Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul at the meeting.
