It is a distinct pleasure to congratulate today all the women all around the world with  this wonderful day and sincerely thank them for their immense contributions in shaping the society and the destiny of generations.

This year the International Women’s Day is taking place at the testing ground of the global pandemic, during which women have stepped-up to this challenge with courage and honesty, rapidly adapting in a evolving situation.

They were at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19, as health sector workers, scientists, doctors, teachers, mothers, caregivers.

As an Organization with progressive policies that put human development at the center of its agenda, the Turkic Council is always ready to contribute to the worldwide efforts and actions in favor of women’s rights, equality and justice.

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, together with my colleagues at the Turkic Council Secretariat, we wish women personnel of our Office, as well as all women around the world, success, prosperity and a bright future.
