19th of May represents the day when the Turkish Nation`s hope for independence and freedom are turned into blief. It was also the day when the fire of salvation was burned and the belief in a bright future was strengthened.
On behalf of the Turkic Council and my own, we convey our gratitude primarily to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who are architects of this important day and congratulate wholeheartedly “19 May the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day”.
