The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H. E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency, H.E. Francesco La Camera within the framework of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) on 15 November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the Parties discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to further enhance and strengthen partnership between the OTS and IRENA. 

H.E. Amb. Omuraliev commended IRENA’s role and efforts in supporting development projects of renewable energy and green technologies and emphasized the significance of deepening cooperation between two organizations.
