The OTS Secretary General, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, held a meeting with H.E. Samat Isabekov, Chairman of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the sidelines of the 10th Meeting of the Heads of Customs Administrations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held on 16 January 2025 in Baku.

The parties held discussions on  implementing the instructions of the Heads of State to facilitate customs and transit operations, emphasizing the simplification of customs procedures and the enhancement of customs clearance efficiency across OTS Member States.

The Parties also exchanged views on strengthening regional cooperation by leveraging experience-sharing programs and advancing digitalization projects, such as eTIR and eCMR, to support seamless transit and trade within the region.
