The OTS Secretary General, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with Mr. Dmitry Mariyasin, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), on the margins of the 10th Meeting of the Heads of Customs Administrations, held on 16 January 2025 in Baku.

The Parties highlighted the importance of the Roadmap on the implementation of the eTIR system in the OTS area and discussed the application of modern technologies to enhance customs and transit operations.

The Parties reiterated their commitment to working closely to implement these initiatives, ensuring streamlined customs processes and enhanced trade facilitation.
