On the margins of the 1st Meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) which was held on 26 October 2024 in Istanbul, H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS held a meeting with H.E. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.

At the meeting, Parties expressed their satisfaction for gathering together the Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the OTS for the first time and discussed the prospective projects and programs in this field.

Parties further stressed the importance of organizing Technofest in the OTS Member States and Observers and exchanged views regarding the Industrial Cooperation covering the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Metrology and Industrial Product Safety, Standardization and Conformity Assessment, Production and Development of Technologies as well as Space Cooperation among others.
