H.E.Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), convened with the Permanent Representatives of OTS Member States to UNESCO at a luncheon hosted by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) in Paris on December 15, 2023.
Emphasizing the paramount importance of bolstering the visibility of Turkic culture within international organizations, particularly UNESCO, the participants exchanged insights and discussed collaborative initiatives to be undertaken collectively in the upcoming period.
Following the meeting, OTS Secretary General participated in the concert dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of TURKSOY jointly organized by TURKSOY and the Permanent Delegations of TURKSOY Member States, namely Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye and Turkmenistan to UNESCO which was held at UNESCO headquarter in Paris and attended by over a thousand guests.
